I worked on webhook verification, refund handling that prevents duplicate processing, and recovery workflows for payment failures.

I developed and reviewed carrier integration workflows, role-based permissions and checks for safe rollouts.

Engineering decision
Verify payment events before they affect orders. Make repeated refund requests safe to retry and reconcile uncertain outcomes with the provider before attempting the refund again.
Example acceptance check
A refund request times out, then the provider sends the same webhook twice.
Check that the order records one refund, the repeat event has no additional effect, and an ambiguous provider response is routed for reconciliation.
What the design enables
The recovery path handles retries and uncertain payment outcomes without requiring operators to guess whether to repeat a refund.
